On 10 acres of bushland and pasture within the Green Wedge Zone in Tuerong, the client brief was for a dwelling to serve as their main residence and a base for the breeding of thoroughbred horses.
Sited low in the surrounding environment, solid elements of rammed earth anchor the building with lightweight timber forms projecting outward to capture views across the property and over the surrounding eucalypt forests.
